I have been attending sporting events my whole life, whether it is rooting for my home teams or traveling into enemy territory to show my support. In my experience the opportunities to travel to away games, win or lose, have been some of my most memorable experiences. Certain things like seeing a stadium I've never seen before, how the natives treat a visitor, and various sports rituals are things I think all sports fans should try to experience every chance they get.

In this blog, I will be writing about the experiences of myself and others when it comes to what it was like "wearing the wrong colors" at away games, including their interactions with the opposing fans, what was the most memorable thing from the game, and how their sports culture differs from their own. Any sports fan feels like they are the good guys, this blog will focus on what it is like to be the "bad guys".
